The Accreditation Centre for Foreign Language Examinations (OH-NYAK)

The Accreditation Centre for Foreign Language Examinations (OH-NYAK) was established in 1998. It is responsible for issuing accreditation to foreign language examination centres in Hungary, renewing their accreditation every two years, recognising non-accredited foreign language examinations and verifying certified language examinations.

No language examinations can be taken at the Accreditation Centre (OH-NYAK). However, the Accreditation Centre provides information on the variety of accredited language examinations available and assists language learners and teachers in finding the appropriate examination centre and venue. Currently, there are 24 accredited language examination centres offering A2 to C1 level language examinations in 37 languages at over 450 venues.

The Accreditation Board for Foreign Language Examinations (NYAT)

The Accreditation Board for Foreign Language Examinations was established in 1998. The expert members of the Accreditation Board advise the Accreditation Centre on its accreditation-related activities. The members of the Accreditation Board are responsible for evaluating applications for accreditation, monitoring the work of accredited language examination centres and revising the Accreditation Handbook every year.
